Summer Days Summer days, lazy days of peace and cloudless sky, Butterfly and bumble bee on gentle wings doth fly. Sweet peas climb the trellis, where rose perfume fills the air, Rippling stream your laughter's heard by the blue kingfisher bird. While from your banks a fishing goes, 1there too the slender iris grows, The breeze that stirs the willow tree, and all this Lord you have given me. So in my very humble way, I thank you Lord for this summer’s day.
