Howard's Walk 2007 At last - pictures of Howard's 2007 walk!
St Stephen's 40th Birthday In June our church will be 40! On 24 June we welcome back our previous Minister, Rev Mary Jackman. She will be preaching at both services, at 10.30 am and 3.00 pm. Following the morning service there will be a bring and share meal. All invited to our party!
Tuesday Church
We are holding informal gatherings
fortnightly at St Stephens. The evenings start at 7.15pm and it is
an opportunity for us to get together over a cuppa and have a time of
praise and prayer, after which we go into groups. Groups
include Bible Study on a book of the New Testament and discussions.
Come along and give it a try. Meetings are 22nd May, 5th & 19th
June, 3rd & 17th July. JMA Fundraising The young people who collect for JMA held a stall at the mini market in March. Over £120 was raised to support a project in Bangladesh. A new centre is to be built where young men and women can learn a new skill for eight months and then be provided with tools and materials to help them start work on their own. For every £80 raised a young person can be trained and with their new skills make a living and support themselves and their family. Thank you to all those who supported the stall.
